About

The Marine Corps League is a non-profit corporation incorporated by an Act of the Seventy-fifth Congress of the United States of America at the First Session, begun and held at the City of Washington on Tuesday, the fifth day of January 1937, and approved August 4, 1937.

Mission

The mission of the Marine Corps League is to promote the interest and preserve traditions of the United States Marine Corps; strengthen the fraternity of Marines and their families; serve Marines, FMF Navy Personnel who wear or have worn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor; and foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism.

Vision

Our vision is to enhance the live of Marines, Sailors, and their widows and orphans, and family while also serving our community for it betterment.  We work hard at trying to stop the 22 a day.

Our name

Reapers 850

We named our Detachment after the MQ-9 Reaper drone.  We have active duty Marines training on the MQ-9 Reapers.  One of our founding members is an active duty Marine training with the drones.

Membership

You do not have to be a Marine or FMF Navy Personnel to be a member of the Marine Corps League.  There are four (4) categories of membership we have.  The first is Regular member, one is a Marine or FMF Personnel.  The second is Associate members, individuals not qualified as regular members and who espouse the principles and purposes of the Marine Corps League.  The third are Honorary members, they are voted upon yearly.  And the fourth is Honorary Active Duty members, these are the one that are on Active duty, as they can go on a moments notice.  Please contact us or come to a meeting to learn more.
